Welcome!
This is my nineteenth year teaching and my fourteenth at Westlake High School. I feel truly fortunate to be part of such an inspiring and supportive community. Teaching isn’t just my career—it’s a journey I take alongside my students, and I believe learning is something we do together for a lifetime.
My husband, Christopher, and I are proud parents of two amazing Westlake graduates, Lindsay and Ethan. Both of our children are now in college, exploring new challenges and opportunities. At home, we’re kept on our toes by our spirited cat, Shadow. As a family, we love dancing, making music, and exploring new places.
This year, I’m thrilled to be teaching AP Statistics and BAPS. In AP Stats, we’ll tackle thought-provoking questions like, “How reliable are the headlines we hear in the news?” and “How can we use a sample to understand an entire population?” In BAPS, we’ll bring statistics to life by applying real-world data, learning sampling design, and using technology beyond the calculator to uncover meaningful insights.
No matter which class you're in, my goal is to support you, challenge you, and help you grow both as a thinker and a learner. I’m so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to see all the amazing things we’ll accomplish together!
Go Chaps!
