About Me

As an alum of West Ridge and Westlake and a longtime district resident with three children in the Eanes system, I'm excited to be starting a new professional chapter teaching business classes at Westlake. 

I received my undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University where I competed on the Men's Track and Field team in the Shot Put and Discus and I have an MBA from Tulane University. 

I spent eight years in the video game industry doing game design for Acclaim Entertainment (Austin), Business Strategy for Nintendo (Seattle), and was Project Lead on EA SPORTS' 2007-2008 fantasy football product and a Producer on Madden NFL 2009 (Orlando). 

For 15 years, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry owning and operating a research site in Austin that specialized in Phase 1-3 clinical trials. Following an exit and acquisition by a venture capital-backed tech startup, my journey led me back to my alma mater. I am excited about working with students and sharing practical experience and real-world business scenarios.
