Greetings Families and Students,

I am thrilled to join the Westlake High School family as a dedicated Special Education Teacher and Case Manager. My name is Jonathan Tart-Hisaw or Mr. Jay as my students call me and I am incredibly passionate about creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for all students.

For the past 6 years, I have been immersed in the field of special education, working with diverse groups of students who have unique learning needs. My journey in education began with a deep commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their abilities or challenges, receives an equal opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am excited to work closely with each of you—students and parents to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that addresses the unique needs of our exceptional learners. Together, we will embark on a journey of growth, exploration, and success.
