School Based Therapists

Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) in her 16th year at Westlake High School.  She is originally from Denver and spends most school holidays visiting her friends and family there. 

​Katie went to Regis University for her Bachelors in Psychology.  She studied abroad her junior year in Florence, Italy.  After college she lived in Prague for 6 months.  She went on to get her Masters of Science in Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin.  Katie has spent her career working with adolescents in residential treatment, psychiatric inpatient, juvenile probation and most recent in schools. 

Katie has supervised Masters level clinical interns for the past 14 years and is a board approved clinical supervisor for social workers working towards their LCSW. She also has a small private practice.    

Katie is happily married and has two amazing daughters, Elliot (12) and Dylan (10) and son, MJ (8).  The kids are crazy busy with sports so you can find Katie at the fields or gym cheering them on!

Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in her 7th year working in Eanes ISD and 22nd year as a clinical social worker.  She came to Westlake HS from Valley View Elementary and prior to that she worked in AISD for 7 years primarily at McCallum High School.  Brooke also has many years experience in medical and psychiatric crisis social work.  

Brooke attended Towson University in Maryland for her Bachelors in Sociology and Women's Studies and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with her Masters of Science in Social Work.  Brooke enjoys supervising graduate level social work interns to stay fresh and current in the field of social work.  Outside of work Brooke enjoys being active with her family and two dogs and cheering on and supporting her daughters in their many activities.

​Masters of Science in Social Work Intern

Jenna is a Masters of Science in Social Work intern at the University of Texas at Austin. Jenna was born in Florida and then raised in Pflugerville, Texas. She received her Bachelors of Social Work from Texas State University. Her previous social work experience includes working with teens at Omega Recovery, The Right Step residential addiction treatment center, and with Integral Care Counseling and Mental Health services. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys watching reality TV, trying out new coffee shops, and going on long walks with her puppy Guinness!
