About Me

Hello everyone,

This will be my third year teaching at Westlake and I am very excited for the upcoming school year. I am originally from Aurora, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder from 2013-2016, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Finance. 

I have varied experience in the business world and worked as a Financial Project Manager and International Travel Agent before jumping into the teaching world. I still operate my own travel brokerage business, Emprise Travel Company, outside of school hours. 

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping with my beautiful wife Azalia. We welcomed our first son into the world April 2024 and I absolutely love being a dad!

My professional interests include Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Finance, Macroeconomics, and International Business. I have a strong enthusiasm for mentoring young people and am fortunate to get to work with all the bright students at Westlake. In my classroom, I strive to help students develop critical thinking and creative problem solving skills that will be valuable in both the collegiate and business worlds.
