About Mr. Johnson

Hello! I'm looking forward to my fourth year at Westlake High School after teaching 7th & 8th grade science for four years at Hill Country Middle School.

I am originally from Lincoln, NE (Go Big Red!), and also lived in Phoenix and Boston before moving to Austin in 2011. I earned my degree from Arizona State University, and worked as a professional photographer before starting my career in education. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, traveling, and being outdoors with my wife, son, and two dogs.
