About Ms. Strahan

Hi, I'm Aly Strahan. This will be my 14th year teaching in the Eanes school district and my 10th at Westlake High School. I studied biochemistry, anthropology, and criminal justice in college at Texas State. While studying for my CJ degree I worked at an adolescent treatment facility and learned that I loved working with kids, especially kids who have a harder time in school, and I began working on my teaching certification before I graduated. I'm so happy that I ended up in the Eanes school district after going to West Ridge and graduating from Westlake in 2004.

In my free time I like to travel. My husband and I have two boys, Malcolm (5) and Winston (2). They keep us pretty occupied. We hope our sons will like to travel as much as we do!
