Amy Lam-Hamer

My name is Amy Lam-Hamer and his is my 7th year teaching science in High School and my 4th year at Westlake. I love learning, in fact I spent more than 12 years in higher education. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, my Master’s degree from Sacramento State University and I completed all but my dissertation at the University of Texas. Even after all that schooling, I still chose to stay in the field of education. My feeling is that learning how to learn is the most powerful tool that I can give my students. I want my students to appreciate learning and be excited about the learning process. I look forward to a great year of discovery together.
