This is my 7th year at Westlake High School and my 11th year in Eanes. Previously, I taught at Hill Country MS, Hays CISD, and College Station ISD. I would describe myself as a free-spirited, small-town girl who loves a good adventure...
I started the yoga program at WHS in 2019, and it has been exciting to watch the program grow!
My training in yoga includes:
Registered Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha and Hatha Flow (vinyasa)
Children's Yoga
Anatomy and Physiology for Yoga
Power Yoga for Sport
Mindfulness for Athletes
I have taught many styles of yoga including the following:
Vinyasa
Gentle flow
Slow flow
Restorative
Power yoga
Yoga for athletes
Pre/postnatal
I taught at The Haven, in Dripping Springs, for three years and loved it! I am also working with several sports teams at WHS.
Yoga is a form of self-study, and I believe everyone can benefit from practicing. I love studying yoga, even more than teaching yoga. I think it is important for everyone to have a passion, to study, and/or learn new things every day. This is why I continue to pursue a variety of yoga trainings.
I was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas, where I met my husband, Eric. We have lived in Austin for over 20 years.

Two cats: Reba (tabby) and Lady Gaga (Siamese)
Hobbies:
