In Summer 2020, I moved to ATX from Wheaton, Illinois where I was born and raised. After studying history, secondary education, and special education at Wheaton College, I received my Master's in Special Education from the University of Illinois.
As a special educator, inclusion is extremely important to me and it is my job to equip every student with the skills necessary to achieve their goals in and beyond high school.
While we are extremely busy watching our dogs Lucy (Lucelia-Bedelia) and Ellie (Eloise-Grace), my wife Sarah and I love to hike, fish, and watch the Green Bay Packers on Sundays. I played football and competed in track and field in college and it goes without saying that I have a passion for sports/extracurricular activities.
Our son, McCully, is about to be 2 years old and he loves to skydive off couches, go down slides backwards, and eat "nayks". Additionally, he believes Wheels on the Bus is the greatest musical masterpiece of all time.
I look forward to collaborating with students and their families for my 6th year at WHS!
