About Me

My name is Amy Allen and this is my 25th year teaching secondary mathematics. After graduating from The University of Texas with a BBA in Marketing, I returned to earn my teaching certification in mathematics and pursue a teaching career. Upon graduating I have worked in AISD, RRISD, Leander ISD, Internationally in China for 5 years, The Community School of Naples in Florida, and now in my fifth year at Westlake High School in Eanes. I earned my Masters degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University and also have my principal certification.

I am very excited to live in Austin, Texas and raise my 7 year old son Isaac here, who will be a second grader at Forest Trail this year.

This year I am teaching Precalculus and Pre-AP Precalculus.
