Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.– Rita Pierson

Hello Cardinals!

My name is Haleigh Mojica and I serve as the Collaborative 5th Grade Teacher at Valley View Elementary.  I am truly honored to have the opportunity to work with your child to create a positive and enriching learning experience this year!

A little about me...

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and attended an Eanes school from Pre- Kindergarten to 12th grade.  I then found myself moving about 30 minutes away in San Marcos where I graduated from Texas State University (Eat 'Em Up!) with a degree in Special Education. My journey in the field of education, specifically in Eanes, has equipped me with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the importance of individualized instruction. I hold certifications in SPED K-12, EC-6, and ESL, which enable me to effectively address the unique needs of each student in the classroom.

When I am not in the classroom, you can find me playing outside! I enjoy hiking, running, fishing and going to the family ranch. But what I love to do the most is relax with a hot cup of coffee and watch the sun rise on the beautiful Texas Hill Country. I enjoy going on adventures, small or big, and I teach with the same mentality.

I firmly believe that every student, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, is entitled to a full year of academic growth. It is my mission to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where all students can thrive. I am committed to providing your child with appropriate materials that align with their learning level, as well as delivering high-quality instruction that caters to their individual learning styles.

I am excited to embark on this educational journey with your child. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or insights you may have throughout the school year. Let's work hand in hand to create an environment where learning knows no bounds and every student reaches their fullest potential.

Here's to a fantastic and enriching academic year ahead!
