Welcome to Valley View... home to the friendly cardinal mascot, "Big Red", and approximately 300 of his favorite kindergarten through fifth grade "peeps".
Valley View Elementary is a wonderfully inclusive school setting in the heart of Eanes ISD. From the first moment you walk in the doors, you know you have entered a caring, supportive environment. Students at Valley View are part of a fully inclusive culture where diversity is celebrated and all children and adults are viewed as unique individuals with great value and a grand purpose to enhance the world around them.
We are extremely proud and eternally grateful for the positive and supportive relationship we have with parents and the EISD community. Valley View has an engaged and extremely supportive parent Booster Club and benefits from generous donations to the Eanes Education Foundation. These two organizations provide the "stuff" and "staff" necessary to provide an exceptional educational experience for all students.

Hi, Cardinals!
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the principal of Valley View Elementary. With over 23 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where every student can thrive. My journey in education has been fueled by a passion for helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I have served in various roles, from classroom teacher to administrative positions, each of which has deepened my commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning experience for all students.
My primary goal for our school is to ensure that it is a place where every child feels valued, respected, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. I am dedicated to cultivating a school community where every member feels a strong sense of belonging. We aim to provide a welcoming and caring atmosphere from the moment you walk through our doors. I look forward to working together to create an environment where our students can excel, and where every family feels confident in the care and education their children receive. Thank you for entrusting us with your precious children, and I am excited about the wonderful journey we will share this school year.

Hi Cardinal Family,
I'm pleased to be the new Assistant Principal of Valley View Elementary! As a former WHS graduate who lived in the Cuernavaca area for nearly 10 years, I'm excited to be back.
I've been intentional about taking on diverse teaching and leadership roles so that I was fully prepared when I accepted a job in administration. Having spent my entire educational career in Austin ISD, I've served as a K-5 Special Education teacher, 4th grade teacher and 5th grade teacher. Leading is what brings me the most joy.
Partnering with families to make student-centered decisions is my top priority. I want each student to feel valued for their unique contributions and talents and to feel a sense of belonging each day that they walk into Valley View. I am committed to growing my connection with you and the community, collaborating with our fabulous teachers to facilitate high-quality and engaging learning experiences, and keeping students at the heart of everything we do.
I currently live in South Austin with my husband, James, who is my number #1 fan, my son, Cooper (10) and daughter, Amelia (7), who promise to share their mom so I can love 300+ more children who call Valley View home.
