About Me

Hello! My name is Hannah Riden, and  I am so excited to be here at Barton Creek! I taught in Austin ISD for 4 years, and two years in 2nd grade at VVE.  I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Applied Learning and Development- Hook 'em!  I completed my student teaching through UT Austin, and earned my teaching and ESL certificate. Over the past 6 years I have taught 2nd and 3rd, and will continue teaching 2nd grade this school year! I plan to create a classroom community that is welcoming, engaging, and a space where students can achieve their goals. I hope to foster creativity, growth, and a love for learning. It is a privilege to be apart of the VVE family and grow together as Cardinals! 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, and trying new foods! You will often find me on the trail, in the sephora check out line, or on the lake. 

I am so excited to be on this new journey with all of you, and create relationships that will last a lifetime! Let's have a fun year!
