This course focuses on number and operations, proportionality, expressions, equations, relationships, and measurement and data. Students will explore rational numbers, develop and communicate mathematical relationships, and use algebraic thinking to understand how changes in one quantity affect another. Students will connect verbal, numeric, graphic, and symbolic representations of equations and inequalities, and apply geometric properties and spatial reasoning to solve problems. Additionally, students will use statistics and data analysis to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Graphing technology is integrated to enhance algebra readiness.
