My name is Coach Tyler Blackshire and I am a fourth year teacher/coach at Westlake High School. In addition to teaching health, I coach the varsity secondary for #WestlakeNation, serve as the Freshmen Football Head Coach, and coach freshman basketball. This will be my sixth year teaching with previous stops at Temple High School in Temple, Texas and our very own West Ridge Middle School. I am a proud alumnus of the University of Texas, where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology-Applied Movement Science. I am currently slated to receive my Master's in Educational Administration by the conclusion of the fall semester. I'm looking forward to a wonderful 2020-2021 school year.
