About Me

I love helping students discover that math can be fun and something they can truly succeed in!  My journey began with plans to become an actuary, but once I stepped into the classroom, I knew teaching was where I belonged.  Over the years, I've taught everything from middle school math to AP Statistics, always focusing on building student confidence, encouraging creative and logical thinking, and making connections.

I've lived in Austin for over 20 years and feel lucky to teach in the community I call home.  My husband and I have been married for 24 years and have two teenage boys who keep life adventurous!  When I'm not teaching, you'll probably find me at the baseball field cheering them on...often with our two dogs in tow!  

I'm so excited for the year ahead and can't wait to learn and grow together!
