About Me

Hi! My name is Sawyer Lynn and I am so thrilled to be joining the BCE community as a 1st Grade teacher! I feel so lucky to be a part of this wonderful school and the amazing students, families, and staff that make up its community. I am so excited for this school year to be filled with learning, growth, and fun!

I was raised in a small town not far from here called Johnson City, Texas and recently graduated from Texas Tech University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. There, I was able to complete a full year of student teaching with 2nd grade, and I also student taught 3rd and 1st grade. I married my high school sweetheart last year and together we have 2 fur babies: Sky and Jenny. Outside of school, I enjoy watching movies and soccer, crocheting, and finding new spots to go paddle boarding. 

I feel honored to be given the opportunity to work with your child and nurture their learning journey. As a teacher, I appreciate every students unique talents and abilities and strive to create a classroom culture where every student feels important and safe so they can feel confident in their learning.
