About Me:

Hi, Mustangs! My name is Rachel Schwartz, and this will be my 4th year teaching, but my 1st year teaching at Eanes. I am so excited to be here!

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Special Education in May of 2022 and earned the Outstanding Intern in Special Education award. Following graduation, I taught 3rd-5th special education resource in Norman, Oklahoma for a year, and then spent the past two years teaching pre-kindergarten at a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool school here in Austin! 

I am from a suburb in Northwest Houston called Klein, and enjoy going back to visit my family. In my free time, I love reading, spending time outside, and hanging out with friends. My favorites include: matcha lattes, yoga, lavender, book stores, and coffee shops. 

I have wanted to be a teacher since I can remember, and I look forward to spending this next chapter of my teaching career with you all. Let's have a wonderful and memorable year, together!
