About Me

Hi! I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. I earned my a Bachelor's Degree in Math at Texas State University and then I returned two years later and earned my Master's in Math Education.

I have been teaching math since 2002. I began at Round Rock High School for 6 years. I had two children and so turned my focus to part time teaching at Austin Community College for 20 years (with a four year overlap at Round Rock High School). This is my first year here at Hill Country Middle School and I look forward to working with the youth again. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy writing, exercising, and spending time with my family.
