French 1A and 1B are engaging introductory courses designed for middle school students beginning their journey in the French language. Through a variety of interactive activities and cultural explorations, students build a strong foundation in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Emphasis is placed on everyday vocabulary and essential grammar structures to help students carry out basic conversations and understand simple written texts. Students will also explore Francophone cultures around the world, developing both linguistic skills and cultural awareness.
By the end of the sequence, students will feel more confident using French in real-life contexts and will earn one high school credit for French 1.
