About Me

Born in Puerto Rico, I moved to San Antonio, Texas in 7th grade. I studied Elementary Education at UT Austin (Hook 'em Horns), and got my Masters in Education with a focus on Reading in 2013, as well as got certified as a Master Reading Teacher. I have taught K-4th grades, and been a Reading Specialist throughout my 15 year long career in education. For the past 3 years, I have been a classroom teacher at CCE, and I am so excited to join the HCMS team this year!

I have a seventh grader at HCMS and a fourth grader at CCE, and they are the center of my universe!
