Mr. Cumbie -US History

I was born  on the Texas side of Texarkana and I grew up behind The Pine Curtain of East Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas here in Austin and I've lived here since then! After some pandemic-induced soul searching I decided to make the leap into the world of education and enrolled in a certification program. After substitute teaching at Dobie College Prep Academy for about a year, I was graciously offered to begin my career as an HCMS Cougar and I couldn't be more excited! I love American History, Computers, and cheering on my students!

My interests outside of school include: riding my bike, cooking new recipes, hammock camping, thrifting, consuming all kinds of media, and spending time with my friends!
