My name is Melanie Mala and I am excited to get to know you and your family this year at Cedar Creek. I was born and raised in Fairfield California, only leaving momentarily to attend College at Utah Valley University and receive a bachelors degree in Behavioral Science. I've been working in the field of education since 2017 and recently relocated to Texas from California. I got my start at CCE as a Sped. and Gen. Ed. teaching assistant and immediately fell in love with the campus, thus making the transition into the classroom. 

I grew up playing sports and  music and continue to enjoy those hobbies today. On the weekends you can usually find me outdoors enjoying nature and hanging with my family.
