Welcome to Art with Ms. Koewler!

Fun facts about me:

• I have lived in seven cities! I was born in Cincinnati, OH; grew up in Charleston, SC; went to school at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC; taught English in Madrid, Spain; began my teaching career in Atlanta, GA; and spent one year in Boston, MA. I'm looking forward to finally settling down here in Austin!

• I received my BFA in Art Education at the University of South Carolina and am working towards my Master's in Art Education with The Art of Education University.

• I spent four months solo backpacking in Europe. I love to travel!

• Family time is my favorite. I have two younger brothers, a sweet momma, and a handyman dad (he can fix literally anything).

• When I am not in the art room you can find me making art, visiting art exhibits, spending time outside, and hanging out with my friends and family!
