Hi, I’m Michelle Graham! I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days laughing, learning, and growing alongside some of the most inspiring kids around. This is my 14th year at Barton Creek Elementary and my 18th year in Eanes ISD.
This year, I am honored to be named the Eanes ISD Educator of the Year—a recognition that means the world to me and reflects the joy I find in this work every day.
As a special education teacher, I love helping students build confidence, overcome challenges, and discover what they’re capable of. I believe in the power of a growth mindset and the magic of humor—some of the best learning happens through laughter.
I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in Special and Elementary Education and have taught K–8 in various special education settings. BCE has become home to me, and I’m so proud to be part of this incredible team.
Outside of school, I love traveling and spending time with my husband and our three amazing kids—Tripp (in Austin), and Ella and Evie (both at Ole Miss). We also adore our three dogs: Maddie, Pepper, and Major.
This year, I’m excited about the blending of VVE and BCE. While change can bring uncertainty, it also opens the door for new beginnings—a chance to build something even stronger. I look forward to more students to cheer on, more coworkers to laugh and learn with, and a new chapter where we all grow—together.
