About Me

My name is Mallory Brightwell and I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher!  This will be my 17th year in Eanes and my 15th year teaching first grade. I grew up in San Antonio and later attended the University of Texas, graduating with a BS in Applied Learning and Development. I am a die hard Longhorn fan!  🤘🏼 In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching sports, traveling, and going to the gym.  I also love hanging out with my dog, DKR.  

I can’t wait to get to know you and your family this school year! My priority is creating a safe, nurturing classroom where your child can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. It’s going to be a fantastic year filled with discovery, growth, and fun!
