About Me

I graduated from University of North Texas with my bachelors in Special Education EC-12 (go mean green!). My senior year I student-taught in a middle school Life Skills classroom and just fell in love with the age group! I love watching my students become more and more independent. I am super passionate about transition and considering my students lives beyond the classroom. This will be my fifth year teaching Life Skills and peer pals at West Ridge!

 My younger brother has Downs Syndrome so I have grown up working in the special education community.  I love participating in inclusive programs that I grew up doing with my brother. I serve as the Special Education representative for our Best Buddies program here at WRMS. In the fall, I coach Unified Softball. In the spring, I coach basketball and tennis for Special Olympics. Looking forward to another great year here at WRMS, go wildcats!
