About Me

Hello!

I am so excited to be working with your fabulous children this year!  This will be my 27h year teaching and my third at Forest Trail Elementary.

I was born and raised in the west Texas area. I've been married to my husband Chris for 25 years. I have two wonderful daughters. Charlie (18) is a freshman at the University of North Texas  and Andie (16) is a junior and  attends Dripping Springs High School. 

I have lived in Austin for 28 years.  Before that, I attended Sam Houston State University. I started my pubic teaching career in Eanes ISD (Valley View Elementary). In my long teaching career I have also taught in Dripping Springs ISD  and  Austin ISD.  I'm looking forward to wonderful school year in 3rd grade!
