About Me

Hi there! My name is Laura Drummond and I am thrilled to be working as a Behavior Support Teacher. I grew up in Southlake, TX and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's in Special Education. This will be my sixth year in special education and first year in Eanes ISD. My husband and I are grateful to call Austin our new home and  I am very excited to join the Forest Trail Elementary Family!

When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me going on walks around Town Lake, traveling and spending time with friends and family. 

As a teacher, I believe that students thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students can feel valued and supported.
