Hello everyone! My name is Lauren Brown. I was born and raised here in Austin, Texas! This will be my fourth year of teaching. I have taught both second and third grade. I graduated from Texas Tech University with an Honors degree in Early Childhood Education and was a member of the Tech Teach program. I value Social Emotional Learning and hands-on activities in my classroom. My goal each year is to make each child feel safe, included, and loved. I have always been a dog lover, but last year I adopted a kitty from the shelter. His name is Tink! I enjoy going on trips, trying new coffee shops, playing Pickleball, going on walks, random shopping trips to target, getting dinner with friends, reading, and last but not least, cheering on the 49ers! I am so excited for my 2nd year here at BPE and can't wait to build our classroom family!
