About Me

Hello!  My name is Lisa Bost, and I am a campus support specialist at Valley View.  I love supporting students in their learning and find it a great privilege to spend quality small group time with students throughout the day.

I am a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree from Texas State in Curriculum and Instruction.  I am certified to teach K-6, ESL, and have completed the Wilson Reading System training to increase my toolbox for reading instruction! I love books and teaching reading!  I taught 2nd grade at Valley View from 1989-1994 and took an extended break to be home with my 3 children.  I returned to Valley View in 2012 as a part- time campus support specialist.

I am married to a great man, Phillip, who works for Air Gas. My greatest joy is being a mom to Abby who is 29,  Tyler is 28, and Carter is starting his senior year at the University of Arkansas.  My children all attended Valley View from kinder to 5th grade and graduated from Westlake High School and my family knows firsthand that this is a special place for children.

I love college football, playing games with my family, reading good books, and traveling to the beach.  I grew up in Eanes and actually was the Westlake Chaparral mascot my senior year in high school! I would love for you to drop by room 210 anytime for a visit!  Have a great year!
