Hi there! My name is Katie Oden and I'm so excited to continue working at FTE as a third grade collaborative teacher this school year! It is my Fourth year with Eanes ISD and I am so Grateful to be a part of the Wonderful Forest Trail Family! The Caring and support within the Eanes district makes School Feel like home. Although I was born and raised in Minnesota, I have loved my Time here in Texas Thus Far! 

I graduated with a B.S. in Biology and A minor in Spanish Language from the University of WIsconsin-La Crosse, where I also ran Cross Country and Track at the Collegiate Level. I then went on to Receive my Master's Degree in Education from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN. 

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TEACHING, Specifically in the area of BUILDING CLOSE AND MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS WITH MY STUDENTS! WHEN I'M NOT AT SCHOOL I ENJOY Learning new things, PLAYING AND WALKING WITH MY DOG ABBI, GETTING OUTSIDE TO EXPLORE nature, RUNNING, Snowboarding, Listening to/Playing Music, READING, Tending to my Plants,MEETING NEW PEOPLE, COOKING, And  SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
