Ms. Riley's Bio

Kim Riley has been working in Eanes since the fall of 2000.  She began her career at Westlake High School teaching health, science, and coaching tennis. After a long teaching and coaching career, she transition to administation in the fall of 2023 as an assistant principal at Gorzycki Middle School in AISD.   She is returning this fall to WRMS as an 8th grade science teacher.  Ms. Riley obtained her undergraduate degree from Ithaca College in New York and her Master's degree from Texas State University.  She is originally from upstate NY but considers Austin her permanent home.  Her husband, Scott, is a physical therapist in Bastrop and she has two kids, Erin (a WHS graduate) and current senior at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN studying neuroscience, & Jack (also a WHS graduate) currently a sophomore at the University of Arkansas studying business.  As empty nesters Mr. & Mrs. Riley enjoy attending UT football games and golfing together.  Ms. Riley enjoys shopping and running in her spare time.
