About Me

Hello! I've recently moved to Austin from Colorado, and I'm very excited to join the Westlake family. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.S. in Science and received my teaching certification at Western Colorado University.

I have taught International Baccalaureate Biology, earth science, physics, and chemistry over the past 10 years. I also taught Special Education as a case manager for three years, which has given me lots of tools to diversify my classroom. I believe that every student has an innate ability to be a great scientist and I love helping kids realize their full potential in the classroom.

In my free time I love to be outdoors - rock climbing, biking, SUP, traveling... if it involves an adventure, sign me up!
