Reading RTI serves as Tier 2 intervention support, which is part of the campus Response to Intervention (RtI) process. Through individualized instruction, Reading RTI focuses on building foundational skills and understanding to maximize student growth and success by addressing students' specific needs.
Reading RTI is taught by the Campus Support Specialists that provides academic support to students’ specific needs. This is done through the Response to Intervention process (RTI).
These interventions are provided to students who fall below standards, are Dyslexic, or are English Language Learners.

The Reading STAAR test has three portions, reading, revising/editing, and an essay. Here are some statistics from students enrolled in this class for the whole school year. Please note, the percentages are not aligned to the classroom grading percentages that we are used to. For example, the passing score could be in the range of 35%-45%, unlike a 70% in the grade book.
