Eanes ISD is where I got my start in education, although in the Central Administration office! As I got to know teachers and principals through my role in the district accounting office, I admired their commitment to children and the learning process and decided to pursue teaching as my own career. In the fall of 2002, I became a fifth grade teacher at Barton Creek Elementary. My first assignment was Math/Science; I also taught ELA and Social Studies in 5th grade but settled on Math after my fourth year.
Now I'm so glad to have graduated with my last year's 5th graders, and I'm looking forward to teaching 7th Grade Math and 7th Math Honors.
My husband, David, is employed here at Eanes as well; he works at Westlake High School. And my son, Michael, is beginning his sophomore year also at Westlake High School - Go Chaps!
