About Me

Welcome! I am so excited to start my 17th year in education. I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where I started as a preschool teacher in 2008. Since then I have had students from 6 months old to 75 years old moving from Indianapolis to Madrid, Spain before coming to Austin. 

In 2011, I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a degree in English focusing on Literature Criticism and Theory, and in 2016 I earned a  Master's in Secondary English Curriculum & Instruction  from UT Austin. I'm also TEFL certified. 

In my time away from school I enjoy traveling, Irish dancing, watching Austin FC, and spending time with two young boys.
