About Me

Hello! My name is Kassie Freyermuth, and I am thrilled to begin my second year at Hill Country. I bring with me nine years of teaching experience from Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia, where I taught a variety of grades and subjects, including 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade in elementary school and Literacy, English 7, and English 8 in middle school.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I graduated from Westminster College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Special Education. During my time at Westminster, I also played volleyball while pursuing my degree. My educational journey continued in Virginia, where I earned my Master’s degree in Literacy Instruction (Reading Specialist K-12) and Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University in 2019. 

In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and staying active. I love listening to music, reading, and watching reality TV or sports.
