About Me

I’m excited to be back at Westlake! Born in Austin, I was raised in Dripping Springs, later becoming part of the Eanes ISD community from 3rd grade through graduation. I played many sports and was a proud member of our state championship volleyball teams in 2002 and 2004—Go Chaps!🏐 As a Westlake High School alum, it’s an honor to return and contribute to the same school that shaped my educational journey. 

After playing one year of collegiate volleyball at Stetson University on a scholarship, I returned to Texas and earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University. I’m also a proud mom to my daughter Maya, who’s currently in 8th grade.

I previously taught Biology and am thrilled to be teaching Chemistry this year—my favorite subject! Outside the classroom, I enjoy working out, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family. I'm grateful to be back in the Westlake community and look forward to a great 2025–2026 school year!
