Hi! My name is Jade Slawson and I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year! I have been apart of the Falcon family for almost 3 years now, joining as a collab teacher on the 2nd grade team in January of 2024. I am super excited to begin another amazing school year with a new group of students!

I was born and raised in North Dallas and attended college at Texas A&M University. After living in College Station for four years and completing student teaching back in my hometown, I graduated with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education in December of 2023! Shortly after graduation, I moved here to Austin and have LOVED living here!

When I'm not teaching, you can find me taking walks everywhere around Austin with my dog Benny, reading, swimming at Barton Springs, eating at new restaurants with my roommates, attending concerts, traveling to the lake with my family, and spending time with my fiance, Reece!

I look forward to meeting my students and forming a classroom full of creativity, excitement, and adventures for this school year!
