Hi CCE Families! My name is Hannah Tucker, and I am thrilled to be back for my second year at Cedar Creek teaching fifth grade ELA. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Integrated Math/Computer Science from Boston College in 2021, where I was also a proud Eagle! I grew up in New Hampshire, and lived in Boston, MA prior to moving to Austin. This will be my fifth year teaching, and I am looking forward to kicking off a wonderful year at CCE!

When I am not at school, I love to be active and spend time outside. I enjoy long walks and bike rides on the Hike and Bike Trail, swimming and paddle boarding. I also enjoy reading and live music (especially country music!). 

One of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to know each and every one of my students, both as a learner and individual, as well as their families. Thank you so much for sharing your special children with me this year! I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing together.
