On August 1st of this year, I moved to Austin, Texas! I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Teaching has been a passion of mine; I have dreamt of becoming an elementary teacher since the age of three when I would force my cat Figgy to play school with me. So, I traded in Figgy for humans! I attended Arizona State University to earn a Bachelor in Education and Concordia Portland for a Master of Arts in Teaching. This is my fourth year teaching elementary. Before elementary, I was a preschool teacher for three years. I enjoy cooking, exploring the outdoors, and working out. It may be hard to believe you have a kindergarten student already: I am here for you. I love little humans and cannot wait to partner with you this school year!
