About Me

¡Hola! Yo soy la profesora Hiers. I will be your Spanish 2 or 3 Honors teacher this year, and I am so excited to work with you! This will be my third year at WHS and my second year teaching 2 and 3 Honors. 

I grew up in South Carolina. I completed my BA in Spanish and BS in Foreign Language Education at the College of Charleston. I completed my Masters in Linguistics at UNC Chapel Hill. I have spent time living abroad in Spain, Costa Rica and Colombia.  

In my free time, I like to spend time with my dog (Juniper), explore the outdoors, run, read books, and listen to podcasts. I also love discovering new coffee shops and restaurants.
