Math 6 Accelerated

Course Overview

In Math 6 Accelerated, students will apply mathematics to real-life problems using a structured problem-solving model that includes analysis, planning, and evaluation. They will select appropriate tools and communicate their reasoning and solutions through multiple representations, connecting and justifying their mathematical ideas effectively. Math 6 Accelerated covers more than one year’s worth of math standards. Successful completion of this course will prepare students for entry into Math 8 Accelerated and then into Algebra 1 Honors by 8th Grade.
