About Me

I am Roland Bautista and I this will be my 3rd year teaching at Hill Country. I have to say that it has been an experience of ups and downs but most of all its great to see kids learn and understand. I have a BA in Arts & Technology from UT Dallas and a MS in Kinesiology from UTRGV. I enjoy being active and working out. I also enjoying sketching, digital painting, photography, etc. I have been playing music since I was 8 and love all types of music and genres. I am also an uncle to 3 crazy kiddos who I spoil because they are my only nieces and nephew I have.

In terms of teaching, I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of the kids that I teach and hope that they can in turn teach me a few things as well. This ever evolving world of technology needs young minds like theirs to move forward so I hope to inspire them to want to dive into that world and make a splash!
