About Me

Hey there! I am so happy to have you in my class this year. This is my first year at WHS, and I could not be more excited! I previously taught 7th and 8th grade ELA at WRMS, so I may know you or your siblings.

I grew up in Arlington, TX -- the home of the original Six Flags, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Cowboys. After graduating high school, I moved to Austin to attend St. Edward's University where I received my BA in English Language Arts and Reading with a minor in French. (Est-ce que vous avez besoin d'aide avec vois devoirs français aussi? Je peux vous aider!) Currently, I am working on my MA in British Literature through Texas Tech University, and I can't wait to share all the cool things I learn with you.

In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, go to concerts, travel to see my friends in other states, play volleyball, and spend time with my cats.

I can't wait to get to know you! We are going to have a fantastic year.
