Welcome to Kindergarten at Forest Trail!
I’m so excited to welcome you to a fun-filled year of learning and growing! This is my fourth year teaching kindergarten and my first year at Forest Trail. I was born and raised right here in Austin, and I’m proud to be teaching in the community I call home. I graduated in 2022 from the University of Arkansas, where I majored in K–6 Elementary Education, and I have a deep passion for early childhood education—especially play-based learning.

While I didn’t graduate from Westlake myself, I feel closely connected to the district. My parents, aunts, and cousins are all Westlake alumni, and it means so much to now be a part of this wonderful community. In my classroom, I strive to create a space full of curious learners—where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. I can’t wait to get to know your family and make this a fantastic year together!
