I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with your amazing children this year! This marks my 19th year teaching at Forest Trail Elementary—hard to believe how fast time flies!
I was born and raised in Bryan/College Station, and I’ve now called Austin home for the past 33 years. I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Education from Texas State University, and began my teaching journey in Pflugerville ISD. I then spent time in Austin ISD before finding my true home here in Eanes ISD—and specifically, at Forest Trail Elementary.
I’m also a proud parent of two wonderful daughters: Lily (15), who is currently a student at Westlake High School, and Ava (22), who is preparing to start medical school. Being both a parent and an educator in the Eanes community is one of my greatest joys—I love wearing both hats!
Over the years at Forest Trail, I’ve fallen in love with the students, families, and the supportive spirit of our community. It’s a special place, and I feel so lucky to be part of it. My plan is to stay right here until it’s time to retire!
Here’s to an amazing year ahead—I can’t wait to learn and grow alongside your children!
