About Me

My educational experience was in Biology with an  Emphasis in Ecology and Environmental Biology, and my passion started for teaching Science after I graduated from Texas Tech University. I had several odd jobs, one of which was substituting. I have always enjoyed helping my peers learn and working in a middle school environment allowed me to meet and interact with some of the most amazing students. I was hooked and now, 15 years later, I have taught many different courses all focused on getting middle school students excited about exploring the natural phenomena in the world we live in today.  As a certified Strategic Instruction Model Professional Developer, rest assured that all students will be learning the exact same content and  the Science teachers at West Ridge Middle School work closely together to provide similar experiences that will lead to success for all students.
